Made-to-measure wedding dresses
BE.LOVA Couture is our made-to-measure service. It is the closest you can get to designing your own wedding dress: choose the lace, the neckline, the sleeves and the train, and we cut the gown to your measurements and finish it by hand.
How you design your dress
You begin with a one-to-one appointment at a BE.LOVA boutique. Together with our stylist you choose a base silhouette, then adjust everything — fabric, colour, neckline, back, sleeves, train and finish. Nothing is off the table.
Made-to-measure, step by step
After the first fitting we draft a personal pattern and cut a toile, the muslin version of your dress, so every proportion can be corrected before the real fabric is touched. Two or three fittings later the final piece is sewn, finished by hand and pressed for collection.
Frequently asked questions
What is BE.LOVA Couture?
It is our made-to-measure service. Instead of choosing a finished dress in a standard size, you design the details with our stylist and the dress is cut and sewn for your body only.
How far in advance should I order?
We recommend six to nine months, so there is time for the fittings without rushing. For a summer wedding, the autumn before is ideal.
Can I change a dress I already like?
Yes. Many brides take an existing design and change the neckline, add sleeves or remove the train. Tell us what you love and what you would change, and we will quote it.
Can I personalise the details?
Of course — lace, buttons, embroidery, even the colour of the lining. Small details are often what make a dress feel truly yours.
How do you make sure it fits perfectly?
We cut a toile first and correct the fit on your body at each fitting, so the final dress follows your proportions exactly.
Do you make accessories to match?
Yes, we can make a veil, cape or belt in the same lace, or finish your shoes with the same fabric.
Do you advise on the best silhouette for me?
Always. The first appointment is about you: your style, your venue and what you want to feel. We suggest silhouettes that flatter you and let you decide from there.
